David is based in New York City and Prague. David leads Global Insight’s business development in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
David specialises in governance, anti-corruption and the political economy of illicit markets, and has 20 years of experience working with businesses, governments and intergovernmental organisations in Latin America, Europe and the former Soviet Union.
He is a former Executive Director of the Harvard University’s Center for Latin American Studies, and the director of a human rights project in Ukraine for the United States Agency for International Development.
David also has consulted to the United Nations, the European Union, and USAID on issues of governance and democratisation, and to U.S. information technology and telecommunications firms operating in Latin America.
David holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, a masters from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
